Viva La Mexico!

Mexico hosted us from November 2002 until we sailed west toward the South Pacific in March 2004. Lucky us! Whether exploring ports and anchorages along the West coast, traveling inland by bus or train or playing in the Sea of Cortez, every Mexican we met treated us with kindness and generosity.

Exploring Copper Canyon left us awed by the natural beauty. Guanajuato felt like a European university town. Mazatlan proved to be a great stop with a wonderful town. Puerto Vallarta and Banderas Bay sucked us in to all the area offers. Tenacatita felt like a cruisers campground. Barra de Navidad offered a great marina with access to hotel pool and the famous French Baker delivering croissants right to the boat.
