Arriving in New Zealand via sailboat left us craving land travel. Five weeks traveling by car on the South Island convinced us to live in New Zealand. Over the course of three years, we explored much of the North and South Island. Sometimes we traveled by car, sometimes by campervan and one time we rented a 22 foot RV.
Beauty abounds in every nook and cranny. Beaches, mountains, fjords, black sand, white sand, volcanoes, glaciers, forests, ferns and more. If you plan a trip to New Zealand, be sure to spend enough time there to soak in the country.
