Nighttime temperatures in Joshua Tree dropped, hours of daylight diminished and high winds swept through the campground.
Time to search for a warm spot to spend the holidays. After thorough research – okay, we looked at accuweather for several locations – we chose the Palm Springs area. Even better, we found an RV resort with pools, hot tubs and other fun things to do.
We swam, hot-tubbed, rode bikes, ate, drank bubbles on Christmas, ate at a couple restaurants, met lots of Canadians and even worked out at the fitness center.

After more than a week of luxury and a New Years visit to San Francisco, the Anza Borrego desert called our names. Speaking of names – after much discussion and bonding – the van shall be named Miles (hip-hop version Mylz).
